How Number Loop works

Number Loop

Rule 01

Draw one closed loop.

Join the dots with lines along the grid into a single loop. It never branches, crosses or touches itself, and there is only one.

Rule 01Draw one closed loop.

Join the dots with lines along the grid into a single loop. It never branches, crosses or touches itself, and there is only one.

Rule 02A number counts its edges.

A number says how many of its square’s four edges the loop uses. A square with no number may have any.

Rule 03Crosses are notes.

Tap an edge once for a line, twice for a cross that means no line here, three times to clear it. Drag along the edges to draw several at once; a drag that starts on a line rubs lines out.

Rule 04Every day has exactly one answer.

Found by deduction, never by guessing. Stuck? A hint draws a line of the answer or takes a wrong one away; in ranked play each hint adds 15 s.

Tap an edge for a line, again for a cross, again to clear it, or drag along the edges to draw · keyboard: arrows move between corners, Shift+arrow draws or erases a line
