Lamp Grid strategy
Every white square must be lit, no lamp may shine on another, and a number counts the lamps beside its wall. Use these three steps, easiest first.
A wall that needs every square beside it
If a numbered wall has exactly as many open squares beside it as its number, every one of them takes a lamp.
There is no square to spare, so the wall can only get its lamps there.
A lamp rules out what it lights
No square that a lamp lights, along its row and column up to the next wall, can hold a lamp.
Two lamps that see each other would light one another, which is not allowed. Mark those squares with a dot.
A square nothing else can light
If only one square can still light a white square, that square takes the lamp.
Every white square must be lit, and this is its last chance. Squares behind a wall, or ruled out, can't help.
