Binary Puzzle strategy
Every Binary Puzzle has exactly one answer and can be solved without guessing. Look for these three patterns, easiest first, until the board is full.
Pairs
Two matching marks side by side force the squares at both ends to be the other mark.
A third matching mark in a row is not allowed, so the squares next to a pair can only hold the opposite mark.
Sandwiches
A square between two matching marks must be the other mark.
If it matched, the line would hold three in a row.
Count the line
Once a row or column holds all of one mark, every empty square left in it takes the other mark.
Each row and column holds the same number of filled dots and open rings. When every dot is placed, only rings can finish the line.
